- How do I download the free stickers?
- All I get is a page full of text/numbers when I download the file?
- I'm putting in the right password but it won't let me download.
- How do I know what size to download for my planner?
Once you get your password, just go to the page of the stickers that you want. Choose the size (if there are options) by clicking the little down arrow to expand the section. Enter your password and click the pink “download now” button. Your download will start automatically. Please be patient, some files are large.
You may see this error if you are downloading the zip file from a phone or tablet. You will need to have a free app like iZip, WinZip or 7Zip – depending on if you use an Apple or Android phone. Just set that app to open the zip files and then you can extract them to your camera roll or wherever you want to save them.
You may have an issue downloading if you click a link from Facebook or an email. If so, just open the link directly in your browser and this should solve it.
I make all the weekly and monthly kit available in the following sizes: Happy Planner: Big, Classic and Mini; Erin Condren : Vertical and Horizontal; and one for Travelers Notebook and Ring Planners. While this will not cover all planners available, you should be able to find one that works for yours. Try printing a couple of different ones to see what works best. The awesome thing about printables is that you can actually print more than one and COMBINE different sets to get just the layout you want.
- My stickers are not printing the right size.
- My stickers don't look as vibrant / sharp / colorful as the ones in the sample.
While each printer is different, most will have a setting that says “print at 100%” or “fit to page.” – Be sure that fit to page is UNCHECKED – this feature will make your stickers larger than the size to fit your planner. Using print at 100% should get you just the right size.
Printers can vary a lot – but in general be sure to go into your advanced settings and choose specialty paper (or labels for sticker paper) and choose BEST quality. This will use more ink, but the quality will be much better than the default settings.
- What do I need to use to cut the stickers?
- I can't get good trace on my stickers on the Silhouette.
- I can't get good trace on my stickers on the Cricut.
- How do I resize the PNG file on the Cricut to fit my planner.
While it is more time consuming, all you really need is a pair of scissors. There is a cool little tool called the Gyro-Cut
that will make cutting intricate shapes a lot easier that you may want to check out.
These are the best deals I am currently seeing on the most popular cutting machines (prices are subject to change) :
Silhouette Cameo and Cricut Explore Air.
All of my reformatted stickers are print and cut ready. You will be able to easily trace, print and cut these files. If you are considering one – I would recommending downloading the software for each and testing them out to see what works best for you. You do not have to have the machine to download and use the software.
With the NEW format you no longer need to use black out files to trace the stickers. The Silhouette software can be a little fickle though. If you are not getting a good trace – try the following. Be sure that you are following the steps in THIS TUTORIAL
on how to use the new files. It is slightly different than a traditional trace. If you do not get clean lines – please try the steps. 1) Close the file and trace again. 2) If you normally draw your trace box from upper left to bottom right – REVERSE how you draw the box. It sounds ridiculous but I promise it works LOL.
The best way to know how you stickers will cut is to PREVIEW them before you bring it into the design space. After you click “complex” to bring in the file – then use the page magnifier to zoom out so you can see the whole page. At the bottom click on preview so you can see what it will cut. Anything that is dark is what will cut. If you do NOT see a solid area – please contact me with the file name and size that you have downloaded so I can check it.
